RESUMPTION GUIDELINES FOR RUGIPO STUDENTS

Sequel to the Governing Council Board directive on the re-opening of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, the general public and in particular the Students (new and returning) of the Institution are hereby informed of the following guidelines for their resumption:

NEW ND I AND HND I STUDENTS

All new students NDI and HNDI are to resume on Monday, 30th April, 2018.
The new students are to pay their tuition fees in two (2) installments.
All candidates offered admission into National Diploma Full-Time and Part-Time as well as Higher National Diploma Full-Time and Part-Time are advised to visit Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo website (www.rugipo.edu.ng) on the modalities on fees payment, screening and their registration.

Freshers are enjoined to come to the school with the following particulars for screening and other registration stuffs.
  • O'level results
  • Jamb result
  • Birth certificate
  • ND result (HND only)
  • Local govt certificate
  • Acceptance fee receipt
  • Verification fees receipt
  • Passports photographs (up to 8)
  • and all other related documents.

RETURNING STUDENTS

All returning students are to resume for the continuation of 2016/2017 academic session on Monday, 14th May, 2018.

All returning students are to pay a reparation fee of Twelve Thousand naira (N12,000.00) only. To make the payments, the students are required to visit the school website, click on Reparation Fee Invoice, fill in the necessary details, generate invoice to be taken to any commercial bank on E-transact platform for payment, then return to the website to generate receipt.

In addition, a letter of undertaking to be of good behavior and pledging compliance to the rules and regulations in the Institution must be submitted. The letters under reference must be duly signed by any of these categories of officers:
  • A Justice of Peace (JP)
  • A member of House of Assembly
  • A Civil Servant not below the rank of Permanent Secretary
  • Chairman of the Local Government Council
  • A Legal Practitioner


All returning students are implored to note that their resumption and participation in the 2016/2017 second semester examination is contingent on the full payment of all prescribed fees owed by them.
